Rita Helen Gaydusek, 87, of Grandview, Missouri passed away May 30, 2018. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30AM, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Coronation of Our Lady Parish, Grandview, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 6:00PM, June 1, 2018 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri.
Rita was 13th out of 17 children born to Joseph and Helen Nanneman on their family farm in Wien, Missouri on August 6, 1930. She obtained her registered nursing degree at St. Mary’s Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri where she practiced nursing until she started her family with her husband Loren. She married Loren Gaydusek on July 7, 1950. Together they had two daughters and five sons and resided in Grandview, Missouri. She was a founding member of Coronation of Our Lady Parish. She was strong in her faith, active in her church for many years and was involved in many community activities. Her hobbies included baking, cooking, canning, and gardening. She was most well known for her baked goods including homemade bread, cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, and Christmas candies.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren and son Steven Gaydusek.

I am sorry for the lose of your mother. I continue to keep the whole family in my prayer. I am so glad to know your mom. Yes I loved all the cookies and bake good for Donna and my vacation. Your mom also always remember my family ,my grandbabies , andmy mother. I am blessed to have this family as friends

Loren helped me with math in college at his home when he and My mother worked together in Grandview in early 50’s.
My condolences to Rita’s family. She was always so gracious to me when I was in her home. God bless.
