Rita L. Taylor-Owens, 56, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away November 14, 2020.
Rita was educated in the Kansas City school district. Rita loved to laugh and enjoyed being around family. She will be greatly missed.
Rita was preceded in death by her father, Perry G. Taylor; mother, Clementine Taylor; and brother, William James Williams, Jr; and husband Kelvin Owens.
She is survived by her daughter, Lanell Black; son, Ronnell Taylor; grandsons, Terron and Labron Maples; granddaughter, Ronnae Taylor; four sisters, Terri Harden (Ronald), LaGail Chism, Helen Ramey and Jacqueline Taylor; brother Theodore Taylor; girlfriend, Shelia Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
