Robert “Bob” Henry Lehnert

November 15, 1942 – May 7, 2016

Robert “Bob” Henry Lehnert was the middle child born to Alvina (nee Rubinetz) and Henry Lehnert. Bob grew up in Brooklyn, New York with his parents and siblings. Though he left Brooklyn at a relatively young age he always retained his NY accent, NY attitude, and deep appreciation for a NY deli.

In 1975 Bob and his family relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin where he worked and eventually retired from Leicht’s Transfer and Storage. Bob was a quiet and patient man who deeply loved his children and grandchildren.  Hobbies he enjoyed included; everything Green Bay Packers, deep sea fishing, billiards, and ballroom dancing.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Alvina & Henry and his sister Jane.  Bob is survived by; his brother Dennis; beloved children; Cheryl (Jeffrey) Romuald, Carin (David Capelo) Lehnert, Bill (Christina Buschmann) Lehnert and Barbra (Brian) Perry and his treasured grandchildren: Matthew and Nicholas Romuald; Samuel, Benjamin, Joshua Robison and Angelina Capelo; Elizabeth and August Lehnert; Will and Molly Perry. We hope you can join us for a Celebration of his Life/Memorial Service.  The service will be held on July 3rd, in Green Bay, Wisconsin.  Please contact wlehnert@gmail.com for specific details on time and place.  Dad “Papa” will be greatly missed!
