Robert Colborn, age 73, of Laharpe, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, from cancer. He was born August 11, 1953, in Hominy City Hospital, in Osage County, Oklahoma to Robert W. Colborn and Norma C. Duncan.
He was employed by the City of Iola for 31 years. He was blessed to have the opportunity to retire early. Robert loved being retired and spent most of his time hunting or fishing. He loved his family and his greatest joy were his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, April Colborn, Laharpe, KS; son, Jeromy Colborn, Kansas City, MO; daughters, Angela Murphy (Bryan) Iola, KS, and Cheyanna Walters, Manhattan, KS; stepdaughters, Arian Jackson, Topeka, KS; and Jayden Cooper, Overland Park, KS; brother, Roger Colborn; 13 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
