Robert D. Moore

Robert Dale Moore, born Dec. 3, 1927, to Eddie and Margaret Moore in Kansas City, Mo., passed away July 30, 2012. He was the second oldest of five boys. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles, Dan and Marvin. He is survived his wife Millie English Moore, who he married in 1958, two children, Robert II and wife Lara of Byron, Ga., and Julia McIntire of Independence, Mo., and brother, Myrl Moore and wife Bobbie of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Bob graduated from High school in 1945 and joined the Navy in 1946. He served on the USS Tarawa Aircraft Carrier as a Radar Man. He then attended Baker University and graduated with a degree in Business. In 1953 Bob went to work for Greenlease Cadillac Co. and later Major Cadillac. He sold Cadillac’s for 41 years. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at Missouri Funeral Care, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown.
