Robert J Kirkendall, 63, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 9th, 2014 at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.  A visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday, January 20th, 2014 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1001 SW Blvd, Kansas City, Kansas.  The Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.

Robert was born July 18, 1950 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Norman & Katalina Kirkendall.  Robert retired after many years as a truck driver.  He is survived by; daughter, Jaclyn Kirkendall of Ames, Iowa. (arr. Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 816-313-1677)

    Bob, was an amazing Man, Dad, Father, Step-Father, Brother, Friend to all! He loved to sing and remember him loving his karaoke nights. He loved his children and grandchildren. Bob will always be remembered as a great guy. I always worried about him when on the road in the Mts. of Colorado. He loved driving his truck and that life too. GOD BLESS him and his entire family.

    Bob was my songbird. I Loved him through 15 years of marriage and will Love him forever. Bob treated Crystal and Brandy as his own children. He helped me raise them for 15 years and so especially to Brandy his is and always will be “Daddy”.
    I know I will be with you once again when this life here is over.
