Robert J. Diffey, 71, of Independence, MO passed away on 3/6/20. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 13 from 6-9pm at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO.

Bob and Ace’s will always be in our hearts. Without both I would never have met the love of my life. Bob was a great man even away from Aces. We will miss him greatly.
Over the years I Got to know Bob he’s a great person very funny guy but didn’t take a lot of bull from anybody I’m going to miss the way used to throw our full beer cans across the room to make it in the trash lol. I want to thank Bob and the rest of the staff for giving me the opportunity to show one of my many talents at River aces it was a great experience. The man above has gain a true warrior and I believe that he is now looking down on us to carry a legacy that means so much to him. Bob and his entire family will pick up where he left off alpha feel his legendary legacy so when we see him again he will tell us job well done. ?????
Bob was my cousin. His mother, Dorothy and our mother Nadine were sisters. He was just younger than me and we grew up in the same neighborhood and schools. He was truly a man to admire. He was the sort of person that worked hard and long for his family and was successful his entire life. He had and met many challenges in his life and I was, at times, amazed at how he was able to deal with them. He will be missed.
Bob was always a nice and generous man. He looked after people to make sure they where taken care of. I remember the many good times I have had at River Aces. He will be missed greatly but now hes in a better place with the Lord.
