Robert Mintz

Life Reflections
 
Robert J. Mintz of Kansas City, Mo., entered into this life on January 22, 1947 where he had lived for 61years. Bob UB (Uncle Bob) was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam, and Germany. In his military career, he served as a Drill Sergeant and Administrative NCO at several military installations. He retired from the service at the grade of SFC – Sergeant First Class.
 
As a boy he attended local schools of Jacksonville, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Harrington, father Joseph Nathaniel Mintz, stepmother Mary Brown and sister Bertha L. Mintz. He is survived by his wife, Sondra and long time companion James M. Semadeni, along with his niece April McLeod, nephews Lester, Broderick and Andrew and great niece Tiffany and great nephews, Christopher and Caelon. Two adopted sons Peter (Susan), Ted (Emily) Semadeni, two grand children Sage and Isabel Semadeni.

Bob served as a volunteer for the Kansas City Free Health Clinic as a “Peer to Peer Counselor” for those surviving AIDS. Uncle Bob shall be remembered for his love of music, people, food, (great cook), and most of all his sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ and his love of God to all people no matter where he went. He could most assuredly be found guilty of praising God’s name.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Monday Sept 8th at Spirit of Hope Church 3801 Wyandotte, KCMO
