Robert Aldrich, 79, Raytown, Mo passed away at home on January 7, 2019. Robert was born January 29, 1939 in Welch, OK, to Wilbur and Clara (Moore) Aldrich. He loved gardening, roses, animals and birds. Other hobbies included painting, fishing, hunting, building birdhouses, playing ping pong, going on nature walks, baking and watching movies.He worked as a mail handler at Union Staion, at Wagner Electric as an assembler and finally retiring from Salvajor, where he assembled commercial garbage disposals. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed being active in his family’s lives.
He is survived by his Wife Carmen (Robles) Aldrich, his children; Carmen Morgan, Rick (Maria) Aldrich, Judy Aldrich, Helen (Joseph) Horton, Renee (Timothy) Roither, Steven (Jennifer) Aldrich, grandchildren; Timothy Flores, James Colford, Jr., Caitlin Williams, Hananiah Aldrich, Jedidiah Aldrich, Alena Stambaugh, Crystal Weisz, Maria Scherff, Breanna Stambaugh, Liam Scherff, Owen Scherff, Brittany Fox, Andrea Smith, Zackary Horton, Sean Evans, Rachael Stewart, Aaron Aldrich, Lucas Aldrich, Jackson Aldrich, and Madison Aldrich.
A visitation will be held 2-3 pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 with a funeral service at 3 pm at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133.
