Robert Lee Potter

Robert Lee Potter, 70 of Pleasant Hill, MO passed away April 19, 2021 at Pleasant Hill, MO.

Robert L. Potter was born to Hershel E. Potter and Lottie M. Potter (nee Bost) on October 9th, 1951 in Kansas City, MO. .

Bob was a barber for many years servicing those in Blue Spring, MO and Pleasant Hill, MO. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing in the many lakes and rivers in Missouri. He looked forward to deer hunting with his brothers each season, and in the spring hunting for Morel mushrooms. Robert “was a cut” and enjoyed entertaining his family and friends often. He was never without a smile. He loved to cook, barbecue, and sitting around a bonfire making all welcome. He loved delighting children with his antics. He served in the National Guard in the 1970’s..

He was preceded in death by his sister Mildred “Milly” Schmitt (2016), his brother William E. Potter (2005) and his parents Hershel & Lottie Potter.

He is survived by his brothers, Lonnie E. Potter, of Grandview, MO, and Charles “Chuck” Potter of Lees Summit, MO and Kendra Potter, spouse of Independence, MO and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Graveside services will be private at a later date at Forrest Hill Cemetery.
