Robert Lee Strawn

Robert Lee Strawn, 74, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born in Kansas City, MO on August 24, 1948, to Paul J. & Anne M. Strawn. After graduating from Ruskin High School, he worked as an Iron Worker until he retired in 2003. He enjoyed staying active and spending time outside gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, walking, bike riding, riding roller coasters, working out almost daily and traveling. Some of his favorite places he traveled to were Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, Cancun and he also enjoyed several cruises. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and introducing them to all kinds of adventures.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Cleta Mae Strawn (Russell) of over 50 years. He is survived by his daughter, Lori Shepard (Eric) and son, Robert B. Strawn (Kristen), and three grandchildren, Reagan, Sam and Cole. Also, brother Paul J. Strawn Jr. (Lillia) and sister Barbara Stanley (Jerry).

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
