Roderic Wayne Farmer

Roderic Wayne Farmer, age 56 years, of Henley, MO., passed with peace and grace on August 27, 2016. Rod spent his final days with his family at his side.

Rod now sits at our Father’s table with his predeceased brother James Lee Farmer, 2007. Rod is survived by his loving parents LeeRoy and Mable Farmer of Henley, MO; daughter Ciji Farmer Rose and her husband Michael of Wright City, MO; daughter Crystal Farmer of Warrenton, MO; son Roy Farmer of Jefferson City, MO; daughter Cassie Farmer of Holts Summit, MO; 7 grandchildren; sister Rita Rippee and her husband Randy of California MO; sister Theresa Morris and her husband David of Henley, MO; sister Pamela Jones of Jefferson City, MO; and sister Vicki Humphreys and her husband James of Fuquay Varina, NC.

Rod was artistic and enjoyed working outdoors.  He loved his family, hunting, fishing and gardening.  Rod was employed with Richard Heibreder and Son’s Foundation for 31 years. Rod leaves us rich in memories.

Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Snows in Mary’s Home on Friday September 2 at 11 am with a dinner to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Family visitation will be held prior to Mass at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested for funeral expenses under the direction of his POA Theresa Morris.

    Please know that everyone in the entire family has our sympathy. I will always remember Rodney as the quiet young man I knew best from our river days. No words are ever right in a moment like this. Just know that he is remembered by me, and that I have much love for your family.
