Roger Glenn Sherman

Roger Glenn Sherman, 66, of New Bloomfield, passed away on December 26, 2019 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Roger was born January 26, 1953 in Rawlins, WY. Roger enjoyed traveling the United States. Before retiring he drove over the road for various companies, allowing him to be very familiar with roadways and the countryside he loved seeing. As his kids grew up, he spent many weekends camping, boating and water skiing at Pomme de Terre State Park. Country music, grilling and a fire crackling on a Friday and Saturday night were favorite things that Roger could unwind and relax with. He had a love for the wide open road riding motorcycles for many years as well. His love for Jesus Christ along with his family and friends was constant.

Along with his parents, Darrell and Cora, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond (Ray) Sherman and an infant grandson, Justin Cunningham.

He is remembered with love by his partner, Christine Gliser, his children, April Sherman (Ariel DeArmas), Annette (Mark) Bennett, Tim (Tracy) Sherman; his grandchildren Jessica (Jesse) Wheeler, Rachelle (Colin) Triebsch, Taylor (Matt) Gilmore, Tanner Sherman, Seth Cunningham, Kara Bennett, Rajesh Bennett; great grandchildren Fallon Bennett-Howard and Weston Gilmore.
