Roger M. Kramer

Roger M. Kramer, 62, passed away May 21, 2012. He was born in Claremore, Okla., on June 25, 1949. He was the oldest of the three sons John Milton and Rose Marie Kramer had.  He retired in 2002 as a Captain after 31 years with the Junction City Police Department in Junction City. During his law enforcement career, he won several awards for firearms shooting accuracy.  Roger loved the outdoors. He spent his free time hunting, fishing, and trapshooting, and after he retired, he enjoyed working on the Boeskool farm in Jewell Co.  Roger was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Rose Marie, of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; brothers, Robert Kramer of Brownsboro, Texas, and Ray Kramer of Tonto Basin, Ariz.; and his daughter, Angela, and grandson Braeden Kramer, both of Raymore, Mo.  A private service will be held graveside in Mankato.     Angie I was sadden by the loss of your father. Roger was more than colleague of mine, he was truly a friend and trusted person who guided me through dark days. I know you and Braeden were his life in my ways, he spoke of you often. I will always cherished my memories of him and truly miss his friendship.
