Roger William Walker passed away on April 6, 2025, in Buckner, Missouri. Born on November 8, 1961, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Roger lived a life marked by hard work dedication to his trades and devotion to his family.
Roger spent over three decades working as a machinist and a carpenter, both careers that reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to detail. Those who worked with him highly respected his knowledge, skill and reliability.
Roger is survived by his wife, Linda Walker; his children, Guy Walker, Tiffiny Walker, and Walter Walker; and his grandchildren, Lucas Walker, Paige Walker, Laiklyn Allred, and Lane Walker. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations instead be made in Roger’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Suicide Prevention. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later date.
Roger was a good man, and will be sorely missed! I grieve with my family during this time and pray that peace will come to us all in time.
