Ron J. Maas, 79, Kansas City, MO passed away Jan 18, 2013.  Ron was born Dec 7, 1933 on farm outside Council Grove, KS.  He was a banker for 45 years and was an Army Veteran.  His is survived by; his wife of 59 years, Joyce Maas; daughter, Katherine Connor and her husband John Connor; daughter, Rhonda Maas Brown and her husband Thomas Brown; grandchildren, Shelten Brown, and Emma and Eryn Connor.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved all of his pets.  He was proud of his pond property, ducks included.

Visitation will be at 10 am and services will be held 11 am on Wednesday, Jan 23 at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9100 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS. Following the services burial will be at Mt.
