Rose Anne Mathews, 55, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 in her home while she slept, from COVID related complications. Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Ms. Mathews was born on July 20, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. Rose had a love for butterflies, 80’s Rockbands, and bright colors. Her heart was made of gold and her grandbabies were her everything. She not only loved her own children but also all of her many nieces and nephew.
She was preceded in death by: mother, Dianna Belle Mathews; father, Paul Eugene Grice; and brother, Robert James Harcklerode, all from the Kansas City Area.
She is survived by her beloved grandchildren: Jade Alysse, Derrick Allen, Memorie Marie, Journie Alysse, and Storie Rose-Mari. She also leaves behind her children, Jeffrey Fitzgearlds, Dominique Anaya, and Michelle Anaya; as well as their father, Kevin Fitzgearlds. She is also survived by her siblings, Sheila Harris, Paulette Grice, John Grice, Michael Grice and all of their many children whom she loved dearly.
