Rosella Peterson

Rosella Marlene Peterson, 88, entered into eternal rest on September 1, 2007 at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Christ & Trinity Lutheran Church, 3201 Southwest Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301 with Pastor Yvonne Marshall officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Rosella was born November 7, 1918 in Capron, Illinois to the late John and Sarah (Olson) Jeffers. In August of 1935 she married Harold Richard Peterson in Rockford, Illinois and he preceded her in death in 1974. Mrs. Peterson was a member of Jefferson Prairie Lutheran Church in Northern Illinois for many years and was employed with the Sharon State Bank in Sharon, Wisconsin for over 30 years. Rosella is survived by a son Richard Peterson and his wife Nancy of LaMonte, MO, a brother Donald Jeffers of South Beloit, Illinois, three sisters, Dorothy Humbracht of Cortez, CO, Iva Klumph of Madison, WI and Ellen Anderson of Belvedere, IL as well as six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by a son, Lewis John Peterson, two brothers and five sisters. Memorials are suggested to the family of Rosella Peterson, which may be left at the church or mailed to 901 W. Pine St., LaMonte, MO 65081 for a use that has yet to be determined by the family.
