Rosemary “Kay” Ruff

In Loving Memory

Rosemary “Kay” Ruff, 75, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2017 after a 5 year battle with cancer.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 am with
Funeral Liturgy and Mass following at 10am, Tuesday, May 23rd at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Kansas City, MO.

Rite of burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Kay was preceded in passing by her parents, Julia and Harold Floyd, and her sister Linda Hanes.

She is survived by her son Brett, her daughter Charise and fiancé Garrett, grandson Christopher, brother Gary, sister Judy, brothers in law Jack and Steve along with her beloved nieces and cousins.

Kay loved all things nature including animals and the environment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Kansas City Zoo or The Sierra Club

    My condolences to Kay’s family.

    I knew Kay through the Sierra Club. She was so much fun to be around! Kay was so easygoing and a very pleasant person.

    I have many happy memories of hikes and trips with Kay. I will always remember her friendship and her kind ways.

    My heartfelt condolences to Kay’s family and friends. I know we all miss her already.

    Kay was such a fun and funny and true friend, and she loved her family so much!!! 🙂

    I count myself blessed to have known her, and I will always treasure the memories of our times together.
