Ruby Williams

Ruby A. Williams, age 81, of Columbia, entered into rest Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home.  A visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 616 Jackson St. Columbia, MO 65203. A graveside service will follow at memorial park cemetery in Columbia immediately following the visitation.

Mrs. Williams was born July 26, 1942, in Boone County, to Luther and Lucille Tiffany. She married Charles L. Williams on March 31, 1961. He preceded her in death.

Ruby graduated from Hickman High School. She was employed at Mugs Up, Shelter Insurance (where she received Employee of the Year in 1984), and Midwest Mailing throughout her career. She enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, and roadtrips with her loved ones. Ruby loved each and every one of her family and friends dearly.

Together, survivors include their son, Curtis Williams; daughter, Christi Bontrager (and husband, Levi); five grandchildren, Zachary Malone (and wife, Angie), Caitlyn Bontrager, Ashtynn Bontrager, Eryn Bontrager, and Wyatt Williams; and four great-grandchildren, Charlie Malone, Marvin Edward Jones IV, Carter and AriAunna Grant, all of Columbia. Her surviving siblings are brothers Luther Tiffany Jr, Jerry Tiffany, Donald Tiffany, James Tiffany, all of Columbia, and Luke Tiffany of Jefferson City; and sisters Joyce Benedict of Washington and Estella Pulis of Fulton. She was also preceded in death by her oldest sister, Betty McDonald of Columbia.
