Rudolf M. Rasperger, Jr. (Rudy/Corky), 69, Blue Springs, Missouri passed away December 14, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family, up to 10 people, at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020. Walk-through visitation with CDC COVID-19 recommendations will be held from 3:30-4:30 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133.

Rudy was born September 16, 1951 to Rudolf Marty Rasperger, Sr. and Mary Lou Rasperger in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1969 before being drafted as a clerk for the United States Army. After his service he was a laborer working at General Motors, Phelphs Tool and Die, Pipeliners Union 798, CDL driver for Schneider before finishing his working career at Blount International, he retired in May of 2014. Rudy, a proud member of Christ United Methodist Church, loved to have a good time with family and friends. He was the kind of man that always put his family first. He enjoyed fishing on his prized Lowe pontoon boat along with watching the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.

His survivors include wife Linda Rasperger, stepdaughter Melissa Leven (Mark), grand-children Kylie Simpson and Shane Stark, sisters Cheryl Bollinger (Larry) and Cindy Edwards (Ron) and brother Richard Rasperger (Aprilmarie) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to the Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th Street South, Independence, MO 64055
