Russell Wayne Vore

Russell Vore, 51, of Drexel, Missouri, passed away on May 31, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri from non-small cell lung cancer. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. The visitation will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Sugar Creek VFW Post 3976.

Mr. Vore was born on April 30, 1965 in Muncie, Indiana. He was part of the 82nd Airborne Artillery, he loved drawing, cabinetry, playing pool, traveling and the outdoors. But his greatest adventure was his children.

Mr. Vore was preceded in death by Trudy Wathins and Clarence Vore. Survivors include his children, Brittany Vore, Sara Vore, Ian Vore, Devin Vore, and Haley Vore; granddaughters, Lyric Bush; and brothers, Tom and Aaron Vore.
