Russie L. (Parrish) (Welsh) Early

Russie Lorraine (Parrish) Early, 93, passed away peacefully at her home, 27 July 2013, in Lee’s Summit, Mo., on the same day, within an hour, as her sister-in-law Eunice (Welsh) Goldfarb.  Russie was born January 23, 1920 in Deepwater, Mo. to Marion Orla and Juliette Frances (Davis) Parrish.  Russie married Earl Wesley Welsh June 12, 1938 in Calhoun, Mo. and had 2 boys, John and Donnie, before their move to California and their divorce.  She remarried in 1950 to Clyde Early, who preceded her in death.  After 34 years, she retired from work at Northrop Grumman Aircraft.  Russie enjoyed volunteering with her church groups.  She moved back to Missouri to be with her boys after a 50 year separation.  She loved walking, long drives in the country, chocolate ice cream and finding cheap gas.

Preceded in death by her 4 siblings, Margaret St. Clair, Wilma Jean Knodle, Jack Parrish, Phil “Butch” Parrish and her son Donnie Roger Welsh.  Sister Carol Souders survives. Other survivors include her son John Willard (Mary) Welsh, and grandchildren Debby Welsh, Lori (Ron) Gist, Karen Ashcraft, Jennifer (David) Hundley, Kelly (Tim) Wingate, David (Christa) Welsh, Marlese (Todd) Alvested, Marietta “Kathy” Welsh and 10 great-grandchildren, with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation one hour prior to services. Cremation. Private burial services later. In lieu of flowers, the family memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Kansas City.

    cousin Larry I had no idea you had been sick,so sorry to here of your passing you will surly be miessd by all, I remember the fishing and the deer hunt in the west deseret, also the to few times golfing, this ones for you. Cousin Brent and Orlene Brent Riley
