Sally I am going to miss you so much. I still remember you sitting in Physical Science class with me and taught by Mr. Gifford. We have been SIL’s for nearly 40 years. Sally you were always a friendly, loving person that the world is going to miss dearly. My daughters always enjoyed the times that they got to spend with you and I appreciated how kindly you treated them. There are just not enough words to describe the loss of you from this world.

    Andy,
I only met Sally a couple of times, and she was infectious with her happiness. She was definitely a blessing to your life, her family’s, friends, and the people who intersected briefly in her life. As you celebrate her life and mourn the loss of Sally, please take comfort in the fact she’s never far away. Just look at your friends and family and know she’s there with you, and blessing you still.

I remember coming to stay the night with Sam and Mary, we happened to get snowed in for a couple days. Sally never made me feel like a burden, she brought out stuff to make painted wooden ornaments that I still have to this day. I remember making smores on their fireplace and having hot coco. She was a sweet soul and treated her childrens friends like her own kids. Sending my condolences to her family.

Classy lady with a heart of gold. Beautiful inside and out. It was always a treat when she would visit with us in the garage. I’ll never forget how much it meant to me to have her love and support in the most challenging time in my life. Her hugs were priceless. I am honored to have had the privilege of being a part of her life, and forever grateful to have had her in my life. She will be deeply missed, and all of us who knew her can look forward to being reunited with her in the Lord’s kingdom of heaven.

I know it’s been years I remember the days me and my sister going to church with Sally and her kids Mary, Sam, and Truman. She was very faithful to god and loving for her family. She always brought joy and when we rode the church bus together.

Sally Owens was much more than a parent of one of my students. She was my neighbor as well. I knew that she was there if I ever needed anything. Her beautiful smile has been inherited by her children. Her twinkling eyes & warm smile will always be how I remember her. ?

Sally was my mother, Carla Aldridge’s, youngest sister. We were 10 months apart in age and we grew up together. I didn’t call her “Aunt”. We were just the best of friends. As we grew up, and moved apart in distance, our friendship remained close. I’ll cherish all the special memories I have of Sally.

Some people come into your life and leave a lasting impression on your heart. This is the way it was with Sally. Her love and her laughter are the gifts that she gave that will remain with us always.

I’m grateful to God for the gift Sally was to me. May she feel the one last hug I want to give her and hear me whisper “I love you” in her ear.

Until we meet again, my dear Sally, may you bask in the glorious presence of Our Lord. May eternal rest, and joy, and peace be yours.

Sending love to Andy, to all of Sally’s children, grandchildren, and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
