Samantha, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Samantha’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering determination. Her most cherished role was that of a devoted mother to her son, Leland, whom she adored with all her heart. Samantha’s love knew no bounds; she embraced everyone around her, regardless of their past or circumstances. Her infectious energy lit up every room she entered, filling it with warmth and joy.
Samantha had a spirit as strong as her beloved motorcycle rides. She was tenacious and courageous, standing up for what was right, especially when it came to advocating for her son. Her resilience was a testament to her strength and determination, inspiring all who witnessed her bravery. Samantha was the epitome of a fighter, the strongest and hardest we have ever known.
As the eldest sibling, she took on the responsibility of keeping her younger siblings in line, showing them the importance of family bonds and the strength found in unity. Samantha was the nurturing soul, always the “mom” of the group, caring for everyone as if they were her own.
Her generosity knew no bounds; even in times of scarcity, Samantha was selfless, giving to those she loved without a second thought. Her stubbornness, a trait she wielded for good, empowered her to fight for her beliefs, making her a true inspiration to all who knew her.
Samantha’s love and kindness reverberated through the lives of countless people, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and resilience. Now, she rests in Heaven, her battles behind her, leaving us with the memory of a woman who faced life’s challenges with unmatched courage and determination.
Samantha is preceded by her grandparents George, Sharon, and Bill. She was survived by her loving mother, Tina, her father, Carl, her stepfather, Bill, her sisters, Angela, Anna, and Makayla, her brother, CJ, grandmother Beverly, and her beloved son, Leland. Their hearts are filled with the love and strength she shared, and her memory will forever be a guiding light in their lives.
In this time of profound sorrow, let us remember Samantha’s spirit and carry her love forward, living our lives with the same selflessness and determination that she exemplified.
A celebration of Samantha’s life will be held on Sunday, October 22nd at 3:00 PM at Blue Springs Christian Church in Blue Springs, Missouri. In lieu of an over abundance of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made for a trust for her surviving son Leland. Flowers can be sent to Blue Springs Christian Church on Sunday before the service. The family also requests that attendees bring a photo of them with Sami with a note or memory written on the back for a memory box for Leland.
May Samantha’s soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire us all.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sam as one of her treating therapists the last few weeks. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, my heart is completely broken for you all! Although she suffered horrific injuries, everyday I worked with her, those beautiful eyes told a story of determination, strength and kindness. Oh Sam. This is so hard to believe. I remember you and Angela coming to my house and playing with Deidre. Then the time you came with your dad so grown up. My heart breaks for your family.

O Sami how my heart is shattered your forever my Lil ninja I will cherish every moment we had together concerts, all our late night talks bout life and you becoming a first time momma being so scared I’m grateful u kept Lil man name I helped pick out he is in good hands down here u just be his forever angel up there looking down we all love you sami and I’m gunna miss u my ninja
I am in total shock and with soooo much sadness! I am incredibly sorry to learn about Sami’s passing. My heart is broken – and my prayers are lifted for Leland and the WHOLE family. May God put his arms around y’all with comfort and loving memories of Samantha. I am soooo sorry.

Learning of Sam’s passing broke my heart, for Leland and her family. We were best friends all through middle school, she was such a huge part of my life, we became family. We drifted apart over the years post high school but I loved that we still had a shared hobby and love of riding motorcycles. May you have the most clapped out bike in Heaven and keep the rubber side down. Rest is Peace big sis!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are so very sorry for your loss. We are not supposed to bury our children. My heart is breaking for you. My husband and I both ride and love it immensely as I see your sweet Sami did too. I hope you all find some peace in the memories you have made over the years with her. I hope you can laugh as you remember some of the funny stories over the years. I know the days ahead will be hard but I hope you all find some peace in knowing Sami is now suffering anymore and that she is in the arms of the lord and is now an angel watching over you all. Our family went through the same thing last year in August when my great niece who is 4 years old at the time lost her mom to a horrific motorcycle accident in St. Joe. Jully fought for several days but never came back from her injuries. My nephew and their little’s life changed forever and they still are struggling. Please know we are thinking of you all and praying for you. I hope your sweet and beautiful Sami is resting peacefully.
