Samuel Wayne Howell, 62, Leavenworth, Kansas passed away March 11, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS. He was born July 3, 1948 in LaCross, Kansas to Frank and Grace Howell. A military graveside service will be Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Samuel will be deeply missed by his loving family and a host of friends.
Sammy was a member of the Class of 1966 of Osawatomie High School. We lost track of him for many years until recently finding this notice. If any one reads this, please contact me at the above email address so we can fill in some of the blanks. He was a great friend and classmate. We missed him after our 10th reunion.
