Sandra Kay Zeller, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospice House surrounded by her family.
“Sandy” spent more than twenty years as a pharmacy technician in Kansas City before retiring to care for her husband, Bill. Sandy loved to sew clothes for her children and grandchildren. She was quite the crafty person, always making wreaths for family members, among other things. She was very present for family functions, especially those which included her grandchildren and extended family. She attended cheer competitions, volleyball tournaments, archery tournaments, and was her grandchildren’s number one fan. In between spending time with children and grandchildren, she spent quality time with her sisters. She was also an avid shopper.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Zeller, mother Ruby, sisters Connie, June, Ann and Sue, and brother George.
Survivors include son Jon Zeller (Jen) and daughters, Shelly Cochran (Ron), Marybeth McCartney (Jamsen), including grandchildren, Jaimee, Jared, Jentri, Kaitlyn and Ethyn, and great grandchildren Mercy, Kaizey, Kallyn and Nash. Surviving siblings include Judy, Sonnie and Georgia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 19, 2025 from 1pm-3pm at Heartland Crematory and Burial, 802 NW Vesper St., Blue Springs, Missouri.
