Sandra Priscilla Butcher

Sandra P. Butcher, 88, of Overland Park, KS passed away 7/21/2020 at Merriam Gardens Healthcare and Rehabilitation, from natural causes. Visitation services will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133.

Sandra was born November 18, 1931 in Oak Park, IL. Sandra was a mother, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was involved in the bowling community over many years and served as the State Director of the Kansas Youth Bowling organization for almost 18 years. This was her favorite! She worked at a bowling center in Overland Park, running the youth and adult bowling leagues until her retirement. She was enshrined to the Kansas State Women’s Bowling Association and Kansas Bowling Proprietors Hall of Fame in 2006.

She is preceded in death by Al Butcher and is survived by her son Joseph White, daughter Diana Favrow and grandchildren Joseph White, Samantha Favrow, Sarah Rodriquez-Colon and Tyler Favrow and three great-grandchildren.

    Diana, I’m so very sorry of the loss of your Mother. I pray the love of God wraps so tightly around you and your family that it feels like a giant hug. My prayer is also that the sadness that fills your heart this day is soon replaced with the joyous memories you shared with your Mom.

    Di: Our prayers and love come to support you and the family as you deal with this loss. The fantastic times we shared bowling and traveling are here to comfort us and put smiles on our faces. We know she is in a perfect home now with no more pain and a complete healthy body.
