Scott Edward Wilkes

Scott Edward Wilkes, 60, of Warrensburg, Missouri, formally of Crocker, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Country Club Rehab & Healthcare Center in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was born in Waynesville, Missouri on March 30, 1963 to Snowden and Cheryl (Bruce) Wilkes. He graduated from Crocker High School with the Class of 1981. He loved to go hunting and fishing in his youth and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals & Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved living and working on the family farm where he had and loved many animals.

Scott leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Cheryl Wilkes of Warrensburg, MO; two sisters, Holly Wilkes of Independence, MO and Cindy Wilkes of Warrensburg, MO; three children, Joseph Wilkes and wife Meranda of Crocker, MO; Jessica Elam of Crocker, MO; and Emily Newcomb and husband, Todd of Holts Summit, MO; eight grandchildren Hunter, Blake, Kristen, Easton, Mersaddie, Landon, Tyler and Kamryn; one niece, Haley White and husband Aidan of Kansas City, MO; one nephew, Seth Thomas of Warrensburg, MO along with numerous other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, Snowden Wilkes; one sister Sandra Jo Wilkes; his maternal grandparents, James and Wilma Jean Bruce and paternal grandparents, Dillard and Lona Wilkes, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in the Crocker Cemetery in Crocker, Missouri.
