Serenity was a bright and joyful girl. She was full of life and love. Serenity always had a smile on her face from the moment she awoke to the time she went to sleep. She was a true cuddle bug. No matter who picked her up to hold her she would lay her head on their shoulder and smile up at their face. She enjoyed playing with everyone’s necklaces, eyeglasses and earrings as she snuggled close.
Serenity gave so much love with her cuddles and naps on those she loved every Sunday afternoon at church. When she wasn’t cuddling, you could always find her speed crawling after her big sister, Aurora, wanting to do as Aurora did. She watched her sister’s every move and tried to mimic her. From her first word, “Kitty cat”, to trying to walk, to building a tower of blocks, she was always copying her big sister.
Serenity was always very proud of her accomplishments. She was most pleased with her four little teeth and she loved to use them. She put those teeth to good use whether it was biting daddy’s face or at her first birthday party where she joyfully dug into her cake after declaring “Birthday Cake!” with a big grin.
That beautiful grin will be forever missed but joyful memories of Serenity will live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family she left behind.
