Shanna Zappa, born on July 6, 1974, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, peacefully passed away on December 10th, 2023, after a courageous battle against colon cancer.
Shanna had a deep love for all animals, with a special fondness for dogs. Her compassion extended beyond words, leaving an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
Shanna is survived by her father and mother, Steve and Susan Lynch; her sister Christi (Matt) Hunt, Sara (Carlos) Lozano, and brother Andy Lynch. She also leaves behind nieces Taylor (Christopher)Stroud, Logan Hunt, Olivia Lozano, nephews Luca and Julian Lozano, and great-nieces Marjorie and Charlotte Stroud. Along with numerous Aunt, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
The family plans to hold a Celebration of Life for Shanna at a later date, where friends and loved ones can gather to honor and remember the beautiful soul that touched their lives. May Shanna’s memory bring comfort and solace during this difficult time.
Shanna Zappa’s Celebration of Life, is on Friday , June 14th, 2024 from 3:30pm-6:30pm. It will be an Open House held at Unity Village; Lees Summit, MO, in the Executive Ballroom which is next to the Grand Ballroom.

Shanna was such a beautiful person, inside and out,
She was so smart, she was able to see humor in just about any situation. I will remember her infectious laughter and kindness. We were lucky to have known you, Shanna.
