She was talented in creating a variety of crafts and foods. She beautifully decorated and hosted events such as weddings and baby showers. She loved shopping and finding bargains! Cookie enjoyed traveling and cruising with friends and family. She had several opportunities to tour many countries around the world as well as most of the United States. She devoted years of her life caring for her grandchildren when they were infants and throughout early childhood. Cookie helped friends and nearly everyone in her extended family at one time or another be it post op or post childbirth care or rushing to be with a loved one at ER until their immediate family could arrive. Cookie was a caretaker, always there when needed. Cookie cared for everyone else until she eventually needed to be cared for herself.
