Shaun David Alumbaugh

Shaun David Alumbaugh, 35, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away October 23rd, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospice House.

Shaun was born on June 15th, 1986 in North Kansas City, Missouri to David and Lori Alumbaugh. He graduated from Raytown South High School in 2004 and in 2008 he started working for Southwest Airlines as a ramp agent. Shaun loved working for the airline and formed a special brotherhood with his co-workers. In 2009 Shaun adopted his faithful companion, Brutus, a mixed lab breed with a big heart. Shaun professed his commitment to God in 2014 and was a faithful servant. He also enjoyed anything involving sports, playing computer and video games, and being the fun uncle to his niece and nephews.

Shaun was preceded in death by his mother, Lori Alumbaugh, his paternal grandmother, Shirley Alumbaugh, and his maternal grandfather, Larry Secker.

Shaun is survived by his father, David Alumbaugh of Kansas City, MO, his two brothers, Landon Alumbaugh and wife Jerra of Dalton, MO, and Devin Alumbaugh and wife Becca of Springfield, MO, sister, Kaelin Alumbaugh of Kansas City, MO, Paternal grandfather, Glen Alumbaugh, of Kansas City, MO, maternal grandmother, Karolyn Secker, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, five nephews, Rhys Alumbaugh, Rhylen Alumbaugh, Rowen Alumbaugh, Alexei Alumbaugh, and Axton Alumbaugh, all of Dayton, MO, niece, Annika Alumbaugh of Dayton, MO, and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.
