Sheila Renee Fryer

Our beloved Sheila Renee Fryer passed away in Independence, Missouri after bravely battling pancreatic cancer on October 8, 2022 at the age of 55. The family is heartbroken to lose someone so special.

She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Shiela worked at CKS Packaging for 14 years. Sheila loved crocheting blankets for her family, taking care of her multiple aquariums of fish and helping any way she could, She admired medieval castles, butterflies, flowers, Native American crafts and jewelry, military aircrafts, and a variety of music. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Fryer; grandfather, Hugh Brasel; grandmother, Christine Brasel, and her dearest partner Nick Howard.

She is survived by her mother, Glenda Fryer; sisters, Bridgette Hansen, Terri (Trevor) Harrison; brothers, Rick (Marla) Fryer, Thomas “Randy” Fryer, Bryan (Caiti) Fryer; sons Erick (Sharon) Fryer, Christopher Flannery, and Devin Fryer; and grandsons, Ethan Fryer and Zachary “Zachy” Fryer and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00am. Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
