Shirley was born August 24, 1940, in Oklahoma. She graduated from Central High School in 1958. She worked in insurance most of her life with American Family and Farm Bureau. She was also a proud member of Connection Point Church.
Those who knew Shirley knew of her love for reading and doing crafts. But without a doubt she was best known for her sense of humor, love for others and her unwavering faith. No matter the circumstances, Shirley was a wonderful source of Godly wisdom and support to all who needed to feel the love of Jesus in trying times. Her advice was sound and always rooted in Biblical truth. When Shirley prayed, you were comforted by her complete faith that the Lord has his perfect timing and plan prepared. Her faith in God brought peace to all that she came in contact with. Shirley was a true, kind, gentle and gracious lady.
Shirley was proceeded in death by her parents Ray and Lucille Yeager, brother Bob Yeager, her husband David Henderson and daughter Cheryl Henderson.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Wert (Wayne), 3 grandsons Phillip (Baylee), Andrew and Adam, one granddaughter Elizabeth and a great granddaughter Remi.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your family member. My granddaughter, Baylee speaks very highly of her. God be with you all.
What a Blessing you were to your Family, our Church Family, and to me! I’m so thankful I was able to visit with you recently and pray with you. God answered our prayers by Healing you Perfectly and Bringing you Home to Heaven with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and all of your family and friends that were there to welcome you. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Laura and her family as they go through this season of grieving, knowing that they will see you again in Heaven One Day.
Thinking of you, Laura. May the Lord hold you and your family especially close at this sad time. God bless you all. Sharon
