Shirley Marie Zielinski, 75, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on November 23, 2019 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital. Visitation and memorial service will take place from 5-7pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Ashland Baptist Church, 203 E. Broadway, Ashland, Missouri.
Marie was born October 5, 1944 in Anniston, Alabama. She was known for having a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and dance and could be sassy with the best of them. She was head-bopping to the Oak Ridge Boys into the next life!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Frances Rich Garrett and Bernard Downing Garrett; as well as her brother, Tim Garrett.
Survivors include her daughters Frances Corine (Brian) Richey and Cathrine Marie (Dino) Digiacomo; grandchildren Shelby Cathrine Lewis, Abigail Brynnan Yake, Aidan Garret Yake; and siblings Joan (Ron) Thompson and Kenneth (Debbie) Garrett.
