Shirley May Jones, 96, Overland Park, KS, passed away March 3, 2012 at her home of congestive heart failure.
A Celebration of Her Life is planned for 10 AM, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 9595 W. 95th Street, Overland Park, KS, 66212.
Shirley was born March 27, 1915 in McClouth, KS to Clarence and Muriel McHenry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph E. Jones, 2 sisters Reta Wright, Davena Bade, a brother Dale McHenry.
Shirley is survived by her sons Philip (Lynne) Jones and Bruce (April) Jones, grandchildren; Scott (Michelle), Jeffrey (Nicole), Michael (Laura), Akisha, Robin (Ross), and Paris, 7 great-grandchildren and a sister Bettie Campbell.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or St. Luke’s Hospice.
