Stephen Thornton, 68, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away November 28, 2014 at his home. He was born July 28, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. He was a longtime resident of Lee’s Summit. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Shirley Ann Thornton and father Joseph Thornton. He is survived by his mother, Anita Thornton, 4 children; Stephen, Mark, Gina and Sheri, 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM, December 6, 2014 at Beacon of Hope Church, 1315 E. Walnut St., Raymore, MO 64083.
