Stephen Lee Harris

Stephen Lee Harris passed away on April 2, 2026, at Abode Nursing Home.

Stephen found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially time spent fishing. Whether at Lake Jacomo or in Wheatland, Missouri, he cherished casting a line alongside his grandsons, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Harris of the home; his daughters, Cindy Van Maele (Chad) and Sheri Harris (Bill); his sisters, Connie Wolfe, Kathy Runyon, Lisa Harris, and Mary Harris; and his half-brother, Vernon Lee of Edwards, Missouri. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of love and family.

Stephen was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Lee Harris Jr. (May 14, 2006); his parents, Vernon Harris (March 4, 1986) and Edith Harris (October 4, 2020); his brother, Ronnie Lee Harris (April 3, 2014); and his half-brother, Michael Harris (August 22, 2014).

Stephen will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love of the outdoors, and the deep bond he shared with his family. His presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
