Steven C. Carty, 61, Raytown, Mo., passed away July 2, 2012. A visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Mo., with memorial service to follow at 11 a.m. Mr. Carty was born Jan. 27, 1951, in Independence, Mo. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. He was always the first to offer a helping hand and the last to let you down. Steven was preceded in death by his son, Lincoln Carty and father, Chester Carty. Survivors include his mother, Leota Carty; son, Brian Carty; grandson, Triston Carty; granddaughter, Adison Carty. He will be missed by all.
