Susan C. Connolly

Susan Connolly, 57, Kansas City, Missouri passed away July 7, 2021. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 3:00 PM. Susan was born October 15, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri to Roy and Margaret Parker. She married her soul mate, Robert “Bob” Connolly on July 6, 1996 at a drive-thru wedding chapel in Las Vegas, and they were inseparable for the 25 years that followed.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to places with warm sand, beautiful ocean views and amazing sunsets. If her and Bob weren’t on a beach in paradise, they most likely playing slots in Las Vegas.   She spent her working life caring for others as a CNA, she was an amazing caregiver, and always put the comforts of others before her own. Her greatest love, was just being with friends and family, enjoying company of the ones she loved.   She will be greatly missed by all those she knew and touched in her lifetime.

 

Susan is survived by her husband Bob Connolly, stepson Gregory Wright and his wife Rabecca, and three sisters; Anita Parker, Carol Parker and Michelle Epps. She also leaves behind her very special pets Katie and Pumpkin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 siblings, Roy and Brenda.

    Our family is so sorry for your loss Bob. Your mom called me to say the funeral is tomorrow. I will be unable to attend the services tomorrow. This high humidity makes it very hard for me to breathe. Going outside makes it worse. Our family with be with yours in spirit tomorrow. Susan was such a sweet lady.
