Susan Dabelstein,  74,  Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 24, 2022 in Independence, Missouri from stage 4 gallbladder cancer.  She was born in Virginia, then moved to Mountain View, Missouri as a child. She married in Nebraska and moved to Kansas in the mid 70s where she raised 3 children. She was preceded in death by her mother Winnifred Sharton and brother Sam Van Lear.  Survivors include son Carl (Melody) Dabelstein, daughters Deborah (Kurt) Trenary and Diane Dabelstein.  Also surviving her are 9 grand children and 3 great grandchildren.
