Suzie J. Gowans, 63, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Humane Society of Kansas City. She was retired from the Social Security Dept. after 28 years. She is survived by her sister, Sally (Bill) Rice; brother, John (Sharon) Gowans; sister, Terri (Ronnie) Emerson; brother, Chuck (Anna) Gowans; and Tiger, her beloved cat.
