Susan Hart Doering, 62, of Jefferson City, MO passed away on June 7th, 2026 with her sons and her dog by her side. She was born on July 22, 1963 to Vernon and Marilyn (Ford) Hart.
Susan will be remembered for her great sense of humor, the love she had for her sons, how much she enjoyed going thrifting with her Aunt Candy, and watching a good movie with those she loved.
She is survived by her sons Drew (Miranda) Doering and Eric Doering, sister Dianne, and brother Randy Hart.

    Your mom loved both of you so much. I am so sad she passed way too soon. She always said you both were the best thing she ever had in her life and she was so proud of you both. Please know I am here for both of you if you ever need anything. I will be in touch.

    I was late in hearing about my cousin Susan’s passing. I hadn’t seen her much in recent years (I live out of state), but have fond memories of family ‘get togethers’ at her parent’s place in Mexico MO (or at my parents place in Mexico or at my grandparents farm outside of Big Springs) There were lots of ‘get togethers’ in those days. She was a funny, smart and an all around good person. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

    Susan was one of my best friends in high school. We didn’t stay in touch much after college, but I have great memories of our teenage years. One of them is when she “tried” to teach me how to drive a stick shift in Black Betty. I am so sad to hear she has passed away. She will always be remembered by our class. Prayers to Dianne, Randy and the boys.

    So sorry to learn of Susan’s passing. I used to walk to Eugene Field with her(many mornings her dad would drive us). I was in Mexico the end of June. I actually drove by her house and thought of her. She was always a blessing.

    I am deeply saddened to hear about Susan’s passing. We were good friends in high school, and I have many fond memories of spending time with her. We lost touch over the years, but I never forgot her. It’s been many years since we graduated, but I know I’m a better person today because she was my friend. Rest in peace, Susan.
