Ms. VanHole was my piano teacher for 9 years. I looked forward to every Sunday afternoon when I would sit with her for an hour and she’d teach me so much. I love playing the piano and think of her so fondly. Loved how excited she would get when I’d perform a technique just right, she was truly invested in teaching and her passion was so obvious. Will think of her every time I’m near a piano and sending you prayers!

I knew Susie for 30+ years as she taught both my boys piano and then later my wife. She was a pure joy to know. The most valuable thing she ever gave me came just a few short years ago. That was she allow Diane to become my boss and my friend. It was always a joy to work on a variety of project for Susie but always with Diane as my boss. Diane, as you move away, know that I will miss you and think about you often. I already miss Susie and her laugh.

I enjoyed getting to know Susie again after knowing her in high school. In the last 5 years she shared her passion for crafts
and the arts with many handmade gifts. She gave our THS group many laughs
And inspirations. She is missed. Kay Scott

Susie was such a kind and encouraging teacher. As a neighbor, I had extra bonus time to see Susieā€”outside of piano lessons. I’ll never forget her techniques, her patience and her lovely home which she opened up to so many children. You will be missed, Susie. Thank you for all the time you spent sharing your gifts.

Susie gave piano lessons to my brother and I for 6 years. She was patient, sweet, encouraging, and loved teaching others. Now that Iā€™m older I recognize that her love came from loving the Lord. Iā€™m sad to have learned of her passing today, but happy for her that sheā€™s now in heaven with other loved ones. Thank you Susie for being an inspiration during my youth! You are missed.
