Susan Renee Enloe

Susan Renee Enloe, lovingly known as “Sue,” passed away peacefully at her home on June 23, 2025, surrounded by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Born on January 9, 1959, in Severance, Kansas, she was the cherished daughter of Hobert and Velma Rice.

Sue was raised in Kansas and attended Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools. For over 30 years, she was a devoted member of Sheffield Family Life Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She had a heart for others and was known by many as a faithful prayer warrior whose words of encouragement and love reflected the love of Christ. Her greatest joy was pointing others to the Savior she loved so deeply.

Though our hearts ache with her absence on this side of eternity, we take comfort in the promise of reunion and look forward to the day we worship together at the heavenly throne of God.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Hobert and Velma Rice; her sister, Kimberly Rice; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her six children: Brian Enloe, Stacy Enloe, James “J.P.” Enloe, Stephen Enloe, Christopher Enloe, and William Enloe—along with their spouses and families, including more than 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She is also will be lovingly remembered by her seven siblings this side of eternity: Dwaine Pant, Diane Simpson, David Paul Rice, Doug Rice, Donna Perez, Kevin Rice, and Karen Henderson, along with their spouses and extended families.
