Tamra Jean (Hedges) Trader

Tamra Jean (Hedges) Trader was born on December 11, 1961 in Independence Missouri. Tami left this earth on September 14, 2023 to be with her heavenly father after a short illness. Tami was preceded in death by her parents, John and Betty Hedges, and her older brothers John (Dub) and Steven all of Independence.

She was a graduate of William Chrisman high school. Her last employment was ATK ammunition plant where she retired from.

Her survivors include her sister Di Ann Ricketts, and four children, Johnny and Dusty Edwards, and Dakota and Kolten Trader. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Kolby Edwards and Kaden, Karson, and Kai Trader.

Probably one of her biggest enjoyments in life was her love of animals, especially her pit bull Buddy. She enjoyed watching animal planet and any vet shows. Tami also enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed by her family, but we know she rests in God’s hands now.

I am so sorry to hear of Tami’s passing. She was my childhood bestie and although I haven’t seen her for awhile, she will be greatly missed. Never put off going to see someone. She was always a good friend.
