Teresa Lynn Rodriguez

Teresa Lynn Rodriguez was born June 18th, 1965 to Geary & Imogene Cude in Kansas City, Missouri. She was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District where she received her diploma from Northeast High School. She later attended Sanford Brown College where she also received her Associates in Computer Science.

Through many of life’s obstacles, Teresa worked hard to become successful in life. Most recently, she was a licensed insurance agent and the Vice President of Sales at MMA (Medicare Medicaid Advisors). She loved spending time with her MMA family and spent that time investing into hundreds of agents over the years across the nation, helping them to also become successful in their careers. That was just the type of person she was. She was selfless, humble, principled and didn’t mind telling you the truth at the same time.

More than anything else though, she loved her children, nieces, and nephews. She treasured family get togethers at her house where she would do most of the cooking; and ‘oh boy’ could she cook! She wasn’t just a mother to her children and an aunt to her nieces and nephews; but she was also a mother and aunt to so many others who loved her and cared for her just as much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Geary & Imogene Cude; her brother Jeff Cude; and son Miguel Rodriguez.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her 3 children, Juan Rodriguez, Jr., Jose Rodriguez, and Gabriella Rodriguez; her brother Geary Cude, Jr. (Angela); 3 nieces, Andrea Cude, Krystal Cude and Jessica Cude; her nephew John Cude; several great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and extended family. Teresa was also blessed with countless friends who will also miss her deeply.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday, February 12, 2021 at First Baptist of Blue Springs, 4500 Little Blue Pkwy, Independence, MO 64057. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00am. Teresa will be laid to rest at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.

Remembering Teresa and praying for the family. There is a great void in the lives of so many with her passing. She will forever be missed but also fondly cherished in sweet memories.

Teresa Rodriquez was truly one of a kind. No matter what obstacles she faced, she believed being “prayerful and optimistic” was better than focusing on what was going wrong. If you spent enough time with her, you began to believe that we were “living the dream”.
She referred to many as “my friend” and she was a friend to many. She was a true friend. She was an example of a true servant leader.
She will be missed immensely. We hope to continue her legacy service, leadership, and optimism.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. Friend, thank you for showing the world a true example of this Bible verse. I miss you more than any words could ever express. I will forever carry you in my heart. Until I see you again, I love you my true and dearest friend.

Teresa my heart sank when I heard the news. You were a true friend indeed; you were my friend. No matter the hour you would have time to talk. You shared so much of you with everyone that you came in contact with, that’s why this hurts so much. Thank you for sharing your love and your ? with me and so many.

    “Really gonna miss you
It’s really gonna be different without you
Time is gonna be hard and slow
For the rest of my life
I’m gonna be thinking about you, yes I am
Time came when you had to go

    Really gonna miss you
Everything about you, your smiling face
I know you want us all to be strong
    Really gonna miss you
I know you’re gone to that magic place
Singing you a brand new song

    I’ll miss you, my buddy
    I’ll miss you, my friend
I promise my love for you will never end”

    Really gonna miss you Teresa
