Teri J. Moore (1958 – 2026)
Teri Jalane Moore, 67, of Boonville, MO, formerly of Sedalia, MO, passed away on May 30, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Teri was born December 6, 1958, in Cherry Point, North Carolina the daughter of Jerald W. Pendell and Donna L. Pendell (Long).
Teri graduated in 1977 and attended State Fair Community College.
She was united in marriage to Stephen A. Moore on April 23, 1976, in Sedalia, MO. To this union were born two beloved sons.
Teri worked at Bothwell Regional Health Center as a medical transcriptionist before her commitment of 35 years as a Claim Processor with State Farm Insurance.
She enjoyed spending time with family, good food, bike rides, bird watching, volunteering with animal rescue, traveling with her girlfriends, and her two dogs, Bailey & Boscoe.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen Moore, two sons, Stephen Moore Jr (Samantha) of Sedalia, MO; Brandon Moore (Rebecca) of Boonville, MO; Grandchildren, Dillon Moore of Sedalia, MO; Eva Moore of Boonville, MO; Mason Moore of Green Ridge, MO; Jayson Bundy of Boonville, MO; Eric Bundy of Boonville, MO; Isaac Bundy of Boonville, MO; Siblings, Tamra Pendell-Crouch; Eric Pendell; Susan Pendell Holmes; Shelley Jungen; Penny Riesel-Wilkinson; Robin Naeger; brothers-in-law, Donald “Jim” Moore (Brenda); Kenny Moore; sisters-in-law, Debbie Font; Tina Ivy (Steve); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and step-father Hugo “Bud” Riesel.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2026, 11:00am at Smithton Cemetery, Smithton, MO. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
