Ted L. Snively, 62, of Independence, Missouri, died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at the home, following a long illness. He was born September 13, 1952, and was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Dora Snively, and brother, Kenton Snively. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Snively, as well as his sister, Sharon Wear (Bill), and brother, Ronald Snively (Peggy), as well as two nieces, five nephews, and seven great nieces and nephews.
Ted dearly loved his family and friends, and wished so badly that he could have enjoyed being with them more fully. He impressed and inspired so many people by his kind and mild manner, wit, musical ability, creativity, and love. He especially loved his God Jehovah, and therefore symbolized his dedication to him by baptism on February 28, 1987. He looks forward to honoring his God forever when he is resurrected to a paradise earth under God’s Messianic Kingdom.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on December 13, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2885 S. Hardy Ave., Independence, MO. Contributions may be made to the Independence North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Arrangements: Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, (816) 313-1677.
